The Duke City Marathon is New Mexico’s premier and longest-running fitness event, ranked among the Top 25 Marathons in the World. Held annually in downtown Albuquerque, the race offers a scenic tour of the city while serving as the only Boston Marathon qualifier in the state.

Each October, the event draws nearly 5,000 runners and walkers across seven race options, including the Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay, 10K Run, 10K Walk, 5K Run, and 5K Walk. Over 15,000 participants and spectators fill Civic Plaza for race-day festivities, and the free Health & Fitness Expo attracts over 10,000 visitors.
