The Big Day Brewing 24 Hours of Great Glen, now presented by Specialized Bicycles and Mountain Sports Lab, is a legendary mountain biking endurance event held at the base of Mt. Washington.

Founded in 1995 with just 11 teams, it has grown into one of the most beloved grassroots competitions in the country, drawing over 450 riders in 2024 for a weekend of racing, camping, and community.

Set for August 1-2, 2026, the race takes riders on a 9-mile loop of singletrack and carriage roads—solo or in teams of 2, 4, or 5—for a full 24 hours of riding.

It’s more than a race: it’s a festival with live music, food trucks, beer, costumes, camping, and kid-friendly events like the 24 Minutes of Great Glen, which had 80+ youth riders in 2024.

In 2025, the theme is “Eyes to the Sky”, celebrating space exploration, the upcoming solar eclipse, and the 24th anniversary of title sponsor Big Day Brewing.
