The Beach to Bay Relay Marathon in Corpus Christi, Texas, is the largest relay marathon in the United States, held annually since 1976. It’s a beloved Texas tradition that draws over 16,000 runners each year plus another 16,000 spectators along the scenic coastal route.

The six-leg relay covers 26.2 miles, beginning on the sands of North Padre Island, winding through the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, and finishing at McCaughan Park along Corpus Christi’s Shoreline Drive. The event also serves as a tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces, taking place on Armed Forces Day every third Saturday in May.
