Around Long Island Regatta Sponsorship

The Around Long Island Regatta is Long Island’s premier ocean race, founded by Sea Cliff Yacht Club in 1977 and challenged annually the last weekend in July. The course starts off the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor and finishes in Sea Cliff, NY, combining harbor, open Atlantic, and Long Island Sound sailing for a uniquely demanding 207-mile test. New for 2025: race-tracker advertising, a revitalized website with integrated tracking, a social-driven on-water photo trophy, and an extended 250-mile “Around the Islands” option that includes Block Island—now the longest distance race in the region. Open to all sailboats 26’+, ALIR welcomes weekend cruisers, college sailors, and hardcore racers alike.
